I just listed some of my new little bear-head ornaments in the shop. Go check 'em out! A set of four!

I have decided that the cute factor of these outweighs the creepy. I want them hanging all over my tree this winter!

new ornaments?

I didn't have much time in the studio today, but I did manage to make something new. I'm not really sure how I feel about them yet. I think they are really cute, but then I think they're kinda creepy, too. Maybe I need a break for a couple days, I have begun decapitating my little animals!

I'm hanging out with my tiny little niece tomorrow, but maybe I'll put a couple of these new ornaments in the shop on Thursday, just to see what happens...

busy busy weekend

I spent the entire weekend sewing - my hands are sore and tired. I stabbed myself numerous times, once with the sewing machine needle. That was scary, I came very very close to puncturing the skin, but, luckily, it only barely broke through the upper nail. I don't even know how my finger got under the presser foot!

I think I may have pushed myself too hard these past couple of days. I just have so many orders to do, and a few people I haven't even replied to yet, and shops waiting to hear back...I think I have taken on too much.

But... in good news: I have quite a few new little ones to update my etsy shop with! Though I feel exhausted, it feels great to have been so productive! These pictures are just a sampling of who will be in the shop tomorrow.

I have a few orders to package up and ship out in the morning, then I will be posting these new ones. I think they should all be up by late afternoon/early evening. I haven't taken any studio photos of them yet, so I need to allow myself time for that after going to the post office.

I can't say when they will all be posted because it takes quite a while with Etsy, having to upload each, one at a time. But Etsy is so great in many many other ways, so its okay.

I can say, though, that right now I have eight new animals to post tomorrow (I may get one more made tonight before going home), just to give you an idea of how long it will be before they're all up.

Moving in.

So, although our new living situation is a little weird, and awkward and messy and up in the air (yes, all of those things, and more), I have begun settling into my new shared studio, and I LOVE it! It is absolutely beautiful, and so spacious. I'll post more about it, along with some more pictures, after I have it all set up.

Either way, I am super excited about this place, and "the valley" in general. Turns out Easthampton is really the place for us to be right now. Things are quickly falling into place...
